From Day Old to Point of Lay
Khaki Campbell Ducks
Kortlang strain have an excellent reputation as really good egg laying duck. They will start to lay from 5 months of age and produce an average size egg of 72 grams, producing 300 plus eggs per year.
They are hardy foragers, always busily looking for slugs, snails and worms. They love water – but manage to stay in good condition even when water is only in buckets and bowls. However, like all ducks, their feathers do stay in best waterproof condition when they have bathing water.
- Prices Start from £6 each as day olds – Point of Lays are £15 each .

OUT OF STOCK UNTIL 2018 Indian Runner Ducks
In 2016 we will have various colours available from day olds females only. We recommend booking in advance as these were very popular in 2015. These ducks don’t waddle like other ducks they live up to their name and run. They do not fly, so they are easy to fence into a garden and can be timid unless handled from ducklings. They are good layers, laying from February to August, 180-220 per year. These eggs maybe white or green tinted depending on the strain.
With the powder puff feathers on it head, the Crested Duck is truly striking. These are a medium heavy duck, and are good layers. We are hoping to hatch from our breeding group so will be selling these from 15 weeks of age £20 each.
